My heart soars... God, this is what it must have been like. You know, I'm too young for Bruce Lee love. By the time I was aware of him he was a rotting corpse.
But for the people who were alive and aware when Bruce Lee hit his high point everything must have been fantastic. The sky was bluer, the grass greener, the sun warmer on your skin, the breeze cooler. It must have been an incredible time to be alive - for those in the know.
Bruce Lee is now a disgusting wormy cadaver. Stolen from us before his time. His skills are lost to the world, as selfishly he decided not to arise from the grave and roam the earth.
So why am I in such good form? Well Lee has been replaced. The circle of life ever revolves. Tony Jaa is the new Bruce Lee, and those in the know can once again walk on a beautiful earth.
God fucking damn. I was just about to post.
ReplyDeleteI'm boycotting this now...
Oh I see... it's like that... well, my boycott is now upgraded to Jihad, just out of spite.
ReplyDeleteI originally posted this about a second after your last post.
ReplyDeleteWeird...
ReplyDeleteMy comment, althoug posted after yours, went in before yours... obviously I must be more correct...
Shit before the shovel and all that.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, don't you mean Jaahad?
Is that the southern american way of pronouncing Jarhead...
ReplyDeleteI'm not positive... but I'm 100% sure I mean Jihad...
No I'm referring to Tony Jaa's film in my previous post detailing his fight against the Orthodox Jaas - Jaahad.
ReplyDeleteIs the sequal Jaahead, about his time in the gulf???
ReplyDeleteNo, because if Tony Jaa was in the Gulf they wouldn't have been able to call it a war.
ReplyDeleteChan rocks. Not as hard maybe, but he still rocks.
ReplyDeleteI want to see more from Jaa before we start proclaiming him the next Bruce Lee.
Rob you have a strange way of boycotting or declaring Jihad on a post. Your tactic seems to be put in a few comments and then start a conversation with the author? What would you have done if you hadn’t boycotted or declaring Jihad? Does Tony Jaa have a new film out?
ReplyDeleteTony Jaa will always have a new film out... somewhere....
ReplyDeleteMy boycott and jihads are a lot like my normal conversations, well spotted kelly. Except when I'm boycotting and jihadding, I'm usually naked.
You Jihadd!! That's hot!
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad Rob doesn’t have a web cam!
ReplyDeleteCan a dude not talk about Tony Jaa?
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about a new film, but now that you've mentioned it I'll find out. Quality work from you Kelly.
@UMTG: I was a Chanfan when he was younger. At least his old stuff was entertaining, with some quality martial arts. Now it's all just stupid stunts and continuous blocking. I'd like to see a new direction for Jackie Chan.
In fact I'm going to write a ((very) short) film for him.
Tony Jaa has some cool new shit lined up. In his next one he uses a few different martial art styles. Including some shit he learned of Shaolin Monks. That's going to be fucking mega.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I liked young chans work. Drunken Master, particularly. Yes, his newer work is mostly arse. Rumble in the Bronx had some fairly sweet action, but a terrible plot. Hey ho.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Jet Li's Fist of Fury remake Fist of Legend? If not, do so.
Bring on more Jaa.
I'll check it out man, cheers.
