Through life I wander, carrying on my back such ideas as dignity and pride. Why?
Several years ago, I was with my friends walking the roads when we came upon a frog. A friendly frog that didn’t hop away when we approached but instead hopped towards. We grabbed the sticky thing and took it to a nearby filling station. There, we stuck an air hose in it’s mouth and blew it up. I have never done anything like that at any other time in my life. And nothing more have I regretted.
Dignity and pride are animals, primal and fierce, clawing at my regret. They say in my ear "It's Okay, you are a good person" but it never eases me...
