Something Small

Current mood: Inspired by Janeczka

In 1949, Marilyn Monroe was crowned the first official California Artichoke Queen in Castroville, the self-proclaimed "artichoke capital of the world."

The medical name for baldness is alopecia.
Some men have areas on their scalp which are very sensitive to the male sex hormones known as androgens. This sensitivity to sex hormones can lead to baldness.

According to folklore, the juice of an artichoke, pressed out before it blossoms, will restore the hair on a bald head, but it's unclear if you are supposed to rub it on your head or drink it.

Marilyn Monroe, the most celebrated sex icon of the 20th century, confessed to a friend that despite her three husbands and a parade of lovers, she had never had an orgasm.
